Ehab Gendi appointed as the General Manager of Xerox Egypt
Xerox Egypt announced the appointment of Ehab Gendi as the General Manager of the company, replacing Mohammed Amer. Ehab previously served as Managing Director of Xerox Saudi Arabia and now heads the administration in Egypt to employ his expertise and leadership to develop new operations that contribute to achieve the company’s strategy in the areas of digital transformation and printing.
Mohammed Amer will be the Regional Director of Xerox Africa and the Middle East at the company's headquarters in the UK, replacing Mark Duvelin, starting October 8 this year.
"Xerox has chosen Gendi to take on this important position.
During the years he held various positions at Xerox in all its branches due to Egypt's great economic importance," said David Dyas, President of Developing Markets Operations (DMO). Ehab has begun his journey with Xerox in 1983 and took responsibility for launching Xerox's expansion strategy in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Gulf region. His last post was Assistant Vice President, Olayan Technology Group, where he acquired expertise, knowledge and ability to run Xerox Egypt effectively.
"I thank Xerox for choosing this leadership position and I will work with my team to work on developing Xerox operations and strategies in the Egyptian market and to strengthen its position in the region," said Gendi, who is now a leader in technology, digital transformation and printing in Egypt. He has an academic degree and holds a bachelor's degree in management, as well as his studies on "Leadership for Senior Executives" from Harvard Business School in the United States of America. He has also participated in many of the programs and grants offered by Xerox to their management, reflecting the richness of his experience with the company's work and his steadfastness as the General Manager and the team leader.
